We bring hope to 2,722 households living in poverty in southern Honduras, using Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) data to identify the most critical deprivations and direct resources where they are needed most.

We prevent malnutrition and promote early childhood development for children under six across 1,000 households.

We equip local leaders and families to organize around their most urgent needs and drive lasting change from within their communities.

We improve access to safe drinking water, adequate flooring, latrines, and other essential services for more than 1,000 households.

We support the education of more than 3,000 children and adolescents from households facing school attendance and literacy deprivations.
In southern Honduras, Poverty is the norm for 74.5% of families. Many children grow up without reliable access to quality education, healthcare, safe housing, or basic services—barriers that limit opportunity from the very beginning.
Parents face extreme limitations that force families to remain trapped in cycles of poverty.
At Bridges of Hope and Fundación Agrolíbano, we use data from the Multidimensional Poverty Index to identify the greatest needs and invest in solutions that create measurable, lasting change.
Reducing poverty requires more than addressing a single need.
Guided by findings from the Multidimensional Poverty Index, we implement an integrated model that strengthens the connection between children, families, schools, and communities.
By addressing multiple barriers at the same time, we create conditions where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our purpose is to contribute to building prosperous, resilient and self-sufficient communities, capable of sustaining their well-being over time and breaking the cycle of poverty in a lasting way.
Prosperous communities with better levels of education, health and
decent living conditions.
