December 2024, 32 families with children under the age of 6 from 7 communities in Valle, Honduras have improved their housing conditions through the Healthy Families Program by constructing 12 latrines and 20 eco-stoves, thereby reducing deprivations linked to multidimensional poverty. This effort is part of an integrated strategy that aims to strengthen not only the construction of infrastructure but also the capacities of families and communities for self-care, promoting healthy living conditions and lifestyles. Additionally, this project is financially supported by Dole Europe BV, enabling both families and community leadership to contribute to the achievement of SDGs 1, 3, 6, 16, and 17.
